Dr. Klemp grew up in Montana and graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1992. After settling in the Lewiston area with his young family, he eventually started his own practice with the intent of maintaining the personal approach in medicine. He enjoys all aspects of clinical practice, but has a special interest in the treatment of diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eyes and specialty contact lens fitting. He enjoys seeing all ages of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. In his personal time he enjoys spending time with his family, sports, playing cards and all outdoor activities.
Originally from Walla Walla, Connie started her eye care career in 1992. In 1995 Connie became a Washington State Licensed Optician. An optician is the first person people will encounter when seeking out vision care at Klemp Optometry. Opticians are directly involved in customer service. Opticians frequently spend more time with customers than anyone else during the vision care experience. Connie loves what she does. After 28 years, it is still so exciting to help patients find the perfect pair of glasses! Connie has been married for 25 years and has two children and two grandchildren. New to the valley, Connie and her family love going to the WSU football games and being a part of the Lewis-Clark community.
Dr. Daniel Klemp offers various optometric services for patients of all ages in a comfortable and family-oriented setting. They have special interest in treating ocular diseases (i.e., glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic eye disease), integrating systemic health with their ocular manifestations, treatment/management of dry eye, and fitting specialty contact lenses.
